Why Vegan?

Through my experiences as a chef for over fifteen years, I have
developed a passion for the diverse flavors in foods of varying cultures.
As I gained knowledge about the plethora of nutrients that are found in
nonanimal products, it was easy to begin to eliminate these products form
my lifestyle. Currently, I am working on an organic farm and continue to
learn about the many health benefits plants provide. I also contribute to
helping animals by donating to local shelters and purchasing products that
are not tested on animals and use vendors that treat animals with dignity
and respect. My involvement in these endeavors has helped me to
appreciate the importance of dramatically reducing my consumption of
animal products.
